Our Team

J. KIRK MENARD

President

Kirk has an extensive management background.  For twenty years he held positions in major corporations and served as Vice President, Human Resources for the Sterling Research Group, Division of Sterling Drug, Inc. where he was responsible for worldwide human resources programs.

For the past twenty-two years, he has specialized in executive search in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries, first as  a  Partner in Bonner/Menard International, Inc., and then as President of Menard International Search, Inc.  The firm’s clients include large pharmaceutical companies, biotechnology firms, CROs and medical device companies.

Mr. Menard received a B.S. degree from Cornell University and an M.B.A. from the State University of New York at Buffalo.

Matthew J. Menard

Executive Director, Search Management

Matthew has substantial experience working in pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies.  This includes a business development role at Aprecia Pharmaceuticals and serving as a member of Customer Service and Field Sales Teams at McNeil Specialty Pharmaceuticals a division of Johnson & Johnson. 

For several years he was Physician and Community Relations Coordinator at Penn Medicine, a role in which he interacted extensively with physicians throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey.  He has established strong working relationships with HR professionals as well as individuals in varied drug discovery and drug development disciplines.

Mr. Menard received a B.A. degree in Economics and Communications from Muhlenberg College.

William S. Miner

Executive Search Consultant – West Coast

Bill’s experience includes both pharmaceutical R&D and business management.  His responsibilities in positions in the pharmaceutical industry include preclinical and clinical research, regulatory affairs (FDA and EPA), manufacturing and marketing.  Through his personal hands-on experiences, Bill understands the value of both technical skills and good business judgment in a company’s success.  He is currently the owner of AgGro, Inc.

Dr. Miner received B.S. and D.V.M. degrees from Washington State University.

John J. Morris

Executive Search Consultant

John held varied executive level positions in pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies including Otsuka, CRI Worldwide, Reliance Clinical Research Service, Laureate and Sterling Drug.  He has a strong understanding of clinical development, pharmaceutical manufacturing, QA/QC and regulatory affairs and interacts effectively with senior level management as well as candidates for positions.

Mr. Morris received a B.S. degree in Accounting from St. Peter’s University and an M.B.A> in Finance from Pace University.

Nancy C. Worden

Executive Search Consultant

Nancy has interacted effectively with colleagues and clients in the pharmaceutical industry for more than thirty-five years.  Her experience includes working as a Research Associate at Albany Medical College and ten years in Clinical Data Management positions at Sterling Drug and Coromed Corporation.  For twenty-five years she served as a Consulting Biostatistical Programmer for several pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies.  Her experience also includes project management.

Ms. Worden received a B.S. degree in Animal Science from the University of Vermont.
